On Monday 13th May 2013, LUSH Cosmetics will be launching via its UK website a limited edition Mermaid bath ballistic (£2.50) to coincide with the release of ‘The Mermaid Song’ – part of The Coldwater Project by musician and composer Ysanne. All proceeds from this ballistic (minus the VAT which we have to give to the government) and song will be donated to Sea Shepherd, the global non-profit marine conservation charity.

The Mermaid ballistic (£2.50) has been specially created for this project and lovingly handmade from fresh, natural ingredients; lavender oil to relax, lemon oil to clear the mind and seaweed and sea salt to cleanse and soften the skin. Once purchased online, you’ll receive an email containing a link to download the song for free. Visit Monday 13th May to purchase the ballistic.

About The Coldwater Project
The Coldwater Project is a collection of thirteen songs, recorded by Ysanne to bring a new audience to 13 different charities. Ysanne is a British violinist, composer and string arranger; she is best known for her recordings with The Smashing Pumpkins. ‘The Mermaid Song’ is the first release and raises awareness of Sea Shepherd’s campaigns and vital funds for their continued fight for the seas. Here at Lush we are proud long-time supporters of Sea Shepherd, so are happy and proud to support Ysanne’s musical project.
